Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, with the collaboration of Future Food Institute, launches the StartUp Initiative “Agri-Food Tech 2019”. For the second year, the initiative is carried out in collaboration with our international ecosystem that generates and accelerates exponentially positive impacts and sustainable growth, through food innovation.
We are proud to announce that this year, for the first time, the final phase of the Startup Initiative will take place at our Living Lab in Bologna: Scuderia – Future Food Urban CooLab, in Piazza Verdi 2, on 03 July.
Startups selected for the StartUp Initiative programs are eligible for several thousand Euros’ worth of investor readiness training and feedback, made available at no charge by qualified coaches and industry experts. The most promising startups will access Italian and international Investor Arenas to pitch in front of financial investors and industrial partners.
The program in which the Initiative is part was launched for the first time in 2009 and saw the creation of 120 investment forums in Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, the United States and Israel, Russia and, lastly, also in Asia. A value of over 149 million euros of investments collected by over 910 startup finalists of the program and the participation of over 11,000 people in Startup Initiative events, including Venture Capital funds, angel investors, companies and ecosystem actors.
This year circular economy models and business models or Industry 4.0 technologies will be preferred.
