FIGM18 press conference in Rome: fasten your seatbelts and get ready for an amazing journey!

Within two months, 16 student-researchers of 10 nationalities will visit 12 cities and 10 countries from around the world. In Rome, Italy at Camera di Commercio di Roma – Sala del Consiglio –  Via deBurrò 147, Rome, in Partnership with Maker Faire Rome, we will present the second edition of the “Food innovation Global Mission”, which will start from Bologna next May 12th.

The program will involve the 16 student-researchers of the “Food Innovation Program 3.0″, a second level of international Master on Food Innovation organized at UNIMORE by Future Food Institute in collaboration with the Institute For the Future of Palo Alto. The young talents will be involved in a two-month mission to the main food hubs of the world, from Mumbai in India to Shanghai in China, from New York to Valencia through the Silicon valley. They will explorer companies, startups, fablabs, makers, universities, research centers, scientific clusters and technology, to get to know a more sustainable and conscious approach to nutrition, develop new technologies and innovations in the food sector, strengthen the link between the world of education, the world of research / innovation and the business world and train young talents who can become ” future food leaders “. The results of this amazing experience will be presented at Maker Faire Rome 2018
