INNOVATION IN DESIGN EDUCATION:
A PARTICIPATORY DEBATE WITH LUCIANA LEVERATTO
Design is changing. Design concepts have successfully reached areas of application that were previously distant and separate, and nowadays design tool vernacular is on everyone’s lips. In a world where everything is now “designed”, the role of the designer is also being reshaped.
Professionals involved in educating new generations of designers need to develop models that can deliver relevant knowledge and provide appropriate skills to future designers. Interexchange of ideas, discussion and creativity are needed to build a new context for design education.
The aim of this Food Is Conversation is to discuss the future of design education, where all participants can apply their expertise and imagination to shape new scenarios.
