KYOTO Design Lab is happy to announce that is going to host the first ever Food Innovation Workshop in Japan with our Food Innovation Program.
Working in the Design Thinking framework, teams will visit local stakeholders to better understand their needs and context. Professor Matteo Vignoli from UNIMORE will be facilitating the workshop utilizing advanced innovation techniques developed at Stanford University and the Silicon Valley. This is also your opportunity to experience how innovation is practiced around the world.

Afternoon – Visiting the different stakeholders
Wednesday February 15th
09:00 – 17:00 Workshop Day 2 at the Kyoto Institute of Technology
Thursday February 16th
09:00 – 17:00 Workshop Day 3 at the Kyoto Institute of Technology
17:00 – 17:45 Move to MTRL KYOTO
18:30 – 20:30 Final Presentations at the Food Innovation Symposium at MTRL KYOTO
Note:
– Detailed schedule and breakdown of activities will be given to the accepted participants.
– Significant amount of team working time is included in the workshop along with flexibility to get away from the workshop locations.
– Participants are expected to participate for the whole three days. If there is some kind of conflict for parts of the workshop, please let us know in your application.
