Food Innovation Program will participate to the first edition of Bologna Design Week with a workshop on “Food Innovation” and the use of Design Thinking, an innovative approach that see every project as a challenge. Design Thinking is a mindset that characterizes Silicon Valley entrepreneurial culture.
A creative workshop in which teams of students with different backgrounds can create and prototype real solutions to concrete problems and challenges of the food sector. A marathon of innovative ideas to start a process of reflection and change-oriented innovation. Knowledge, planning and action will merge in the discussion of a single macro theme in order to develop ideas that take the concrete form of a new communication tool, an economic model or a food product. Food Innovation Program will participate involving students from different faculties with whom they will create a multidisciplinary team of co-design.
All ideas will be prototyped in the new Officucina purposed built for the Bologna Design Week.
The culture of the project: This is the focus of the first edition of Design Week Bologna, an event that brings together the cultural, creative and productive local excellences in an integrated communication project. A hub to bring together creativity and production, which includes exhibitions, workshops and talks presented in eight thematic tours, including “Design School” a cross-over between the packaging, food, fashion, tech and educational.
