LEGO SERIOUS PLAY® workshop with Alessandro Pirani
This workshop is built upon a process which stems from the heart of LEGO bricks and the LEGO®building system. Looking for a tool to unlock imagination and innovation within the company, the LEGO Group realized that a solution might be found in the LEGO® system itself: just as the LEGO Group had been telling children to ‘build their dreams’ for decades, so perhaps adults could be asked to build their visions for future strategy.
The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology is an innovative process designed to enhance innovation. Based on research which shows that this kind of hands-on, minds-on learning produces a deeper, more meaningful understanding of the world and its possibilities, The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology deepens the reflection process and supports an effective dialogue – for everyone involved in the journey. Since our motto is innovation is a cooperative effort, we invite all our FISS participants – from Staff to Students to Guests – to join us in this transformative exercise.
“You can learn more about a person in an hour of play than you can from a lifetime of conversation” – Plato

Food Innovation Summer School @ AGROGENERATION
Investing in agriculture does not mean looking back at the past, rather interpreting the future with new tools.
Italy is a country that must take the lead in being the beacon of European agri-food renewal, safeguarding all the valued knowledge created and disseminated, thanks to Expo 2015. The increase in the number of farms, and an increasingly closer look at our agricultural heritage, are increasingly evolving into a unique opportunity to create value in the Italian territory.
The extraordinary biodiversity of Italy is a legacy that has been obtained through the ancient knowledge of its agricultural tradition and new technologies that expand the possibilities for development every day – these represent a great value for industries and knowledge.
And who better than to take advantage of this opportunity than the digital-savvy youth and new agri-food entrepreneurs who are able to explore the wealth of ancient knowledge and the opportunities that technology can offer to the evolving future of agriculture?

Agrogeneration is:

INTERNATIONAL
Revisiting the legacy one year after EXPO and Italy’s disposition and central role in innovations in the food chain
DIVERSIFIED
Emphasizing the value of biodiversity and the appetite for inclusion
SHARED
“Innovation is a cooperative effort”
International students, farmers, activists, companies, makers, politicians coming together to plan for the future
