A new edition of Agrogeneration will take place in Bergamo before the G7 Agri. Agrogeneration is an event of CREA (Agriculture research council and analysis of agricultural economy) sponsored by the MIPAAF (Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies) and organized in collaboration with the Future Food Institute, and Vazapp, the first rural hub in the Italian region of Puglia, designed to welcome young people who want to get closer to farming.
After our last edition in Bologna in June 2017, Agrogeneration continues its path in the studies and researches born with Expo 2015, with Italy becoming more and more protagonist of innovation and research in the agri-food industry.
“Agriculture of the future – says Minister Maurizio Martina – has the face of this Agrogeneration. With a world population that will reach 9 billion in 2050 we need to act now with concrete projects in the name of sustainability and zero waste. Research and innovation are key words. Italy is at the forefront of these fronts.”
