SMART CITIES EDITION – July 10th – 17th, 2019

Most of the world’s population is now concentrated within cities limits. This has made cities the principal centre for the production and consumption of our society. As we become more heavily concentrated in these areas so does our carbon footprint. If this wasn’t enough, we have been inclined to locate these cities in some of the most climate vulnerable areas on the planet. Consequently, if we have any hope of battling climate change and moving towards a more climate resilient future, cities will need to be at the core of our plan.
